In honor of the Fourth holiday weekend I am posting a few cookout-related recipes.

You can never have enough pickle recipes. Only need one-half a peck of small cucumbers for this one. Anyone know what a peck is?

Any recipe that can be included in both the “salads” and “desserts” category. I’m with it.

This recipe is from the 1960 Republican Cookbook, so you know it’s good.

I don’t know about you, but this sounds amazing to me.
